The Department of Counseling Psychology at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, organized a research forum workshop on the APA 7th Edition format on August 22, 2024, at Viktor Frankl Hall. The workshop, led by Ms. Sandhiya, Assistant Professor in the Department, was attended by III UG Psychology and II PG Counseling Psychology students. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding and practical application of APA formatting, crucial for academic writing in psychology. Prof. Sandhiya provided a comprehensive overview of APA style, covering key elements such as title pages, in-text citations, references, and the organization of academic papers. The workshop also included an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to clarify doubts and improve their grasp of APA guidelines. Participants expressed satisfaction with the workshop, highlighting its value in equipping them with essential skills for their academic and professional work. The seminar successfully provided students with the tools needed to apply APA formatting in their research and assignments.
