The much-awaited PG Freshers’ Day for the academic year 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The event was organized by the senior PG students to welcome the new batch into the Department of Psychology family. The day was filled with excitement, entertainment, and a sense of camaraderie. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome message by Sr. Anthoniammal P. Professors expressed their joy in seeing the new faces and encouraged the freshers to make the most of their time at the institute, both academically and socially. Following the welcome speech, the stage was set with a Icebreaking session and variety of performances by the senior students. A special segment of the event was the interactive games and activities design to foster friendships among the nevw students. The highlight of this day was the introduction round where cach fresher got a chance to introduce themselves with a ramp walk which is judged by our professor and at the end of the session Mr. and Miss Freshers tag is given to the student. For closing remarks, Leela Priya IIPG Student thanked all the participants and attendees for making the event a grand success. She also extended her gratitude to the organizing committee for their hard work and dedication in putting together such a memorable day Refreshments were served, and the day ended on a high note with new friendships formed and old ones strengthened. PG Freshers’ Day 2024 was indeed a memorable event that left everyone with cherished memories and a sense of belonging. It marked the beginning of an exciting and enriching journey for the new batch of PG students at Sacred Heart College.
